Don’t understand such comments as “this story reeks of enough to fertilize acres of cornfields. Does s/he not think it’s true? And better not tell me s/he’s from Iowa…You don’t want me to come up there, do you? This person sounds as depraved as Fritzl.
IF what they mean is they don’t believe it; they probably don’t believe the holocaust happened either. Do you think the whole town and the whole country would put up with such a preposterous story if it weren’t true? There are people now who are weeping becuase they saw odd things happening there. AND didn’t do anything about it. BUT then i never understood how people could say the Holocaust never happened. they might even have been sincere; but they were sincerely WRONG!
Reminds me of the partial-birth abortion Mr Clinton signed into effect. I always thought someone should have him sit very, very still and take an icepick and prick his skin–YEP!–at the nape of the neck…His neck! He signed into effect that a doctor could make a slit in the nape of the baby’s neck and put a tiny suction tip in and suck out the baby’s brains. Thereby the baby would be dead and they could abort the fetus. YES, to do so the baby has to be partially born. They could not call it murder! What else would you call it–sucking out someones brains?
