One of his popular songs, Jesus Christ Superstar, ostensibly about the actual Lord, was sung by Carly Smithson. First, get past that this is secular TV singing songs written by a man not known for his Christian devotion. Lonesome Stone was the musical we had at the time Jesus Christ Superstar came out, touring in Europe.
