Nearing his 65th natal day, William Maxfield Parrish (Anthony Hopkins) receives a most unexpected gift, a visit from Deathplayed by Brad Pitt in a wonderfully subtle and well calculated functioning. It seems that Pitt the Younger wants to sample the human live and picks Parrish to be his guide.
