USAF To Start Synthetic Fuel Trials With F-15
Synthetic Genomics, the company founded by genetics pioneer Craig Venter with aims to revolutionize the fuel market, is looking to score another $100 million to $200 million in funding, Earth2Tech reports. Venters company has designs on using genetic science to create a biofuel that can turn carbon dioxide into octane within the next 18 months. In the meantime, CFO Chuck McBride tells Earth2Tech the companys looking to raise $100 million to $200 million.
