4 Reported Dead After Tornado, Other Severe Weather Hits Missouri

The National Weather Service in reports that three people have died after a tornado hit 8 kilometers north of Seneca, Missouri. At least six people were killed as the tornado flattened the northeastern Oklahoma town of Picher before the funnel struck about 15 miles away near Seneca, Mo., and killed at least three, authorities said. It was a different story in Seneca, Missouri and Picher, Oklahoma, where 9 fatalities were reported as a result of several tornadoes that rolled through northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri.
