First, why is this measure applied only to Israel, and certainly only to Israel on an existential basis? He has spent a lifetime in this cramped refugee camp, and Israel’s 60th independence day, to be celebrated with fanfare on May 8, fills him with pain. In fact, it was the Palestinian and Arab leadership whichin contrast to every other refugee situation in modern historyinsisted on keeping these people suffering and in refugee camps to use as political pawns.
