#1 I need to respectfully disagree with you about Buffy and Angel; I got hooked on those shows. #3 I am in love with Eliza Dushku and have been ever since she first appeared on Buffy! Just one season long, and not even a full season, and it is to this day my all time favorite show (and movie, of course). Buffy was brilliant; my hypothesis for why it struck such a chord was because it was brillliantly attuned to the American zeitgeist, dealing as it did with teenage sex, peer pressure, and school shootings.
