Integral Mean Value Theorem & Mean Value Theorem
Weve got two different analogues of the integral mean value theorem for the Riemann-Stieltjes integral. I am surprised on the scoring guidelines that Rolles theorem is never used when f(a)=f(b), but instead the Mean Value Theorem is always used. I am surprised on the scoring guidelines that Rolle’s theorem is never used when f(a)=f(b), but instead the Mean Value Theorem is always used. Today we’ll explore the integral mean value theorem along with the mean value theorem for differential calculus.
