Pittsburgh Newspaper Files Notice To Sue WVU
The university received the notice Thursday, WVU spokeswoman Amy Neil said Friday, but declined further comment. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, in a story appearing on its Web site Friday, said it filed a 30-day notice to sue because WVU “has engaged in a constant and consistent practice of delay, evasion and concealment.” The lawsuit stems from the newspaper’s attempts to follow up on its earlier stories involving WVU’s decision last fall to award Manchin’s daughter, Heather Bresch, an executive MBA degree.
