Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez drilled a pair of Rangers; Mariner Richie Sexson got a high, somewhat tight one from Rangers pitcher Kason Gabbard, decided this amounted to retaliation and charged the mound. Usually these things end without genuine injury, but this time Kason Gabbard had to leave the game with bruised legs incurred as Sexson pummeled him.
