Scorpions Virgin Killer (Germany)
The remainder of the album continues in the heavy style with the classic-sounding Schenker/Meine tracks (Backstage Queen) intermingling with Uli Jon Roths more scatty numbers (Hell Cat/Polar Nights). The original CDs of the album are plagued by a rather quiet and somewhat muddy sound. Sadly, this means that until they go back to the original multi-tracks, the album will always sound this way. At a mere 35 minutes, the album ends long before the quality starts to dip, making it one of their more concise and consistent efforts.
