Senators 5, Reading 4
The victory gave the Senators (19-10) a 2-1 triumph over the Phillies (14-15) in the Eastern League series. It was their sixth series win of the season to go along with one series loss and two ties. Estrada (3-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk in five innings. He struck out a season-high seven batters. Desmond’s two-run homer and Daniel’s solo shot both came in the fourth against former Senators RHP Kip Bouknight (2-3), giving the hosts a 4-1 advantage they would keep.
