The Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly Has Elected A New Premier!
Speaking during the motion, Mr Panga highlighted a few points why Mr Salani should be removed. Mr Panga said there was definitely no control over the meager finances of the province with some overwhelming over spending of the discretionary fund. Guadalcanal Province used part of the funding to purchase a new shipping vessel MV Solomone from South Korea. However, Mr Panga said during the trip to South Korea to purchase the vessel the provincial minister for works and his consultant drew an allowance of some US$310 per day(SB$900).
