Tornado Watch In Effect For Northwest Georgia Until 7:00 Pm
Today for Washington, Clarke, Monroe, Wilcox, Marengo and Choctaw counties in southwest Alabama. Isolated showers and thunderstorms should continue to develop over these areas through the afternoon. Rainfall could fall at rate of up to 2 inches per hour later in the afternoon. Wind gusts to 45 mph are possible with stronger storms. For those counties, along with Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia and Conecuh counties in southwest Alabama.
