cauliflower ear actually hardens up after a few months. that extreme case was from a transient edema. It could have been drained at that point, Thompson’s trainer’s are really dumb for not taking care of it before the fight. Aside from losing him the fight, it also looked disgusting and will probably scar up a lot worse now.
