Collins has voted to support Bush’s agenda 78% of the time, and tonight she gets her reward as the president raises money for the campaign committee that works to elect Republican Senators. “Twelve million dollars is a lot to pay for a rubber stamp, but Bush has gotten his money’s worth with Susan Collins,” DSCC spokesman Matthew Miller asked. “But all the campaign cash in the world won’t fool Mainers into buying Collins’ election year makeover.
