Green Schools Challenge - The Commissioners of the New York State Education Department and the Department of Environmental Conservation have co-announced the (PDF File). The goals of this exciting and vital initiative are to promote recycling in schools and to recognize the great strides that many schools have taken to develop responsible solid waste management practices.
