I dont agree with your statement about the difference between boxing fans and MMA fans. I presume most of you who bad-mouth MMA are true blue boxing fans who have a bit of envy for MMAs new-found popularity. If American fighters, and particularly American white fighters, were more successful in boxing, then there would have been less of an opening for MMAs rise. After all of the Chuck Lidells fall by the wayside, and MMA becomes the same color as boxing, then MMA in America will decline for many of the same reasons that boxing declined.
