I was just about to post on this. There is a transparent formula (whether you agree with it or not) for Wimbledon seedings (I will give it to you in the next post) so the commitee can’t show him “love”. Were they confused because the formula doesn’t apply to the women’s seedings? Were they confused because the formula doesn’t apply to the women’s seedings? During RG Mary Carillo kept harping on about how Nadal should’ve been the #1 seed, even though being 1 or 2 doesn’t matter because 3 and 4 are placed randomly.
