Investigators say a homemade “sparkler bomb” was the source of an explosion Sunday night in the Eagle Cliff Addition in southeast Norman. Meanwhile, authorities are discussing what charges to file against the three suspects who allegedly set off the explosion, police said. “Apparently these young men were quite surprised by the violence of the explosion. Our fear is that people will underestimate the potential force of explosion and hurt themselves or someone else or precipitate severe property damage,” Judy said.
