The Packer Page - Aaron Rodgers Says “Shut Up.”

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

I’m always somewhat baffled when fans talk about being loyal and all that, when all they really mean is, “I’m loyal to him IF and WHEN he plays well for my team.” And I think that goes for fans of every team by the way. So I think it’s good advice to Packer fans to [...]

Brett Swain Steve Johnson Kentucky

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

From what I could find it looks like he is more of a speed receiver. He also returned punts in college so that might also be an option. I dont think the Packers really needed to pick another receiver. In the 7th round most players dont even make the team that picked them.

Dom Barber To Houston

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

The Packers have intriguing young players currently at the safety position, but they could use some more competition. Competition brings out the best in everyone, right? The Packers have needs higher than safety, so they can wait until the second day of the draft to grab one. Barber is a second day prospect, and an [...]

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

I’ll spare you all the details about him - as Wake fans we know what an asset he was and I know everyone wishes him the best in the NFL. The Packers website has yet to say anything about Thompson, and the they apparently have yet to talk to the press there today (they’re showing [...]

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

Very well done and I have to say, despite disagreeing somewhat on what the Packers needs are, I think youre pretty much dead on assessing these players. See this February post saying the same. I know hes become a reach at this point which is a shame because he would have been a steal. Im [...]

2008 NFL Draft - Pick #25 Dallas Cowboys (From Seattle)

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

The only reason the Cowboys would trade Anthony Fasano is if they found someone with more upside. And extras. Nicely put together. “Great site if you are a cowboys fan! I’m proud to say I am not! Not a cowboys fan (Go Packers!), but still enjoyed the blog.

Culpepper to Packers?Noooooooooo. Sirius NFL Radio is reporting that Daunte Culpepper arrived in Green Bay last night for a visit with the Packers. Hes there today. Hes not good. In fact, he was never as good as his statistics suggested even in his two decent years. I could throw the ball up to Randy [...]
